Horror movie gives moviegoers “vomit bags” – “puke in popcorn” | movies | entertainment

Later this month, Terrifier 2 is set to arrive in the UK on DVD and Blu-ray, but it’s already wreaking havoc throughout filmed homes in the US and across several film festivals. Things are said to get out of hand at some shows, with viewers claiming to have “vomited” and “fainted” in the film’s agonizing scenes.

Terrifier 2 is a direct follow-up to 2016’s Terrifier, and continues the story of Art the Clown, a gruesome and supernatural clown who haunts teens and unsuspecting victims.

A Twitter user posted a photo of a Terrifier 2 vomit bag being handed out at a film festival to combat its disgusting scenes.

The small paper bag was decorated with a shocking image of clown art, with a big red warning sign on it. The bag also reads: “Warning, this vomit bag is provided due to the extreme violence and excessive fatigue of this feature…Guaranteed to cause GI upset.”

Some online reports described viewers vomiting while watching the film due to its excessive use of blood.

One Twitter user wrote: “I saw #Terfire2 and screamed and vomited and cried and fainted all at the same time.” (sic)

Another added: “#Terrifier2 My girlfriend passed out and the theater called an ambulance. Highly recommended.”

Another said, “If you’re planning on watching Terrifier 2, I’ll warn you all now that it’s the most amazing movie I’ve seen since probably hostile. If you don’t like really detailed visceral deaths, I’ll avoid it.”

Another added, “Terrifier 2 is so bloody that I vomited into my popcorn.”

A film critic said, “This goes beyond the first movie in almost every respect, as the killings are brutal, the characters are more interesting, and viewers will learn more about Art the Clown. And the excitement makes it engaging from start to finish.”

For those who choose to continue, you have been warned…” (sic)

Even more disturbing is that the film’s director, Damien Lyon, recently revealed that he didn’t go as far as he wanted in the movie.

Leon told ComingSoon, “Believe it or not, there’s a line. What you see, at the end of the day, I imagined where it could be five times worse. I thought about moving it to a much worse place, but I was afraid of really being ostracized by the audience. I know that’s The bloodsucking is too intense for some people, but it could also be much worse.”

However, not all responses to Terrifier 2 have been overwhelmingly positive.

One person wrote on Twitter: “Killing every reviewer gave The Horror 2 a good grade, the movie was boring half the time.” (sic)

Another agreed: “Terrifier 2 was disappointing.” (sic)
