AEW’s Anthony Boyens teases new movie with Boy Meets Scientist Daniel Fishel

Few of the stars in AEW are as exciting as acclaimed player Anthony Boyens and Max Custer, who recently became the AEW World Tag Team Champions and held their first-ever scissors day last week, plus their jersey became the number one jersey. AEW’s best selling shirt of the year. Now it looks like Bowens is heading into the movie world, revealing on Twitter that he just shot his first movie and that this movie is directed by Boy Meets World star Danielle Fishel Karp. You can check out the post below.

Bowens can be seen standing next to Fishel holding the AEW World Tag Team title. Also, it’s acclaimed that scissors are in, and Bowens takes the opportunity to remind fans that everyone loves acclaim. Also worth noting is Serpentico’s response to Nyla Rose in the comments, as this exchange was fun.

Regarding the movie, neither Bowens nor Fishel has revealed any other details about him or the role he will be playing, so we hope to have more details soon. Bowens returned to AEW TV tonight as part of AEW Dynamite, and the audience gave a standing ovation to the tag team tag team champions as they hit the ring with Billy Gunn to take on Swirf Strickland.

As for Fishel, while we wait for details of her new movie, she’s also working on a project with NSYNC’s Lance Bass, which she revealed on a recent episode of the Pod Meets World podcast (via diverse).

“Lance and I are already working on a movie about our love story and our prom experience,” Fishel said. “I dated Lance for about a year while I was on Boy Meets World. It was my last year and Lance came with me to my high school prom.”

“The reason we wanted to turn the prom story into a movie, I think a lot of people can relate to that story; a lot of people in the LGBT community, prom night was the night they were, ‘Oh, wait a minute.’” Bass said. This can’t happen anymore.” “That was the motivator for me that made me start accepting myself, which took a long time after that, but that was definitely the first little straw that broke.”
