Unfortunately, this installment will see the exit of one of the original cast members. Brian T, who played Ethan Choi in 131 episodes of Chicago MedHe will be leaving the series very soon.
Season 8’s ninth episode, “It Could Be the Beginning of Something New,” will air on December 7 and will be the final episode of Tee in front of the camera. The actor will pose behind the camera to direct the 16th episode of the season. T had a six-year contract that expired this year, and he made the decision not to renew it in order to spend more time with his family and pursue other creative opportunities.

He said, “I’ve thought a lot about what Dr. Choi stands for. As far as my career, it’s been a school of hard hits for a long time.” “I took what the industry gave me in terms of opportunities. At the time, the box I was allowed to play in for about 20 years or more, was very limited; it was very stereotypical, and cliched like playing the original Asian bad guy. I have nothing against it; I was able to build a career but it never really pushed me to the level I knew I was capable of. Then literally, as I play Shredder in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtlesthe villain of all Asian baddies, my phone rings and my agent asks me if I want to go to Chicago.
