The Week 7 slate is packed with great games, and the disturbing alerts are the top games of the weekend for college football.

Just when I thought it couldn’t get much better, college football decided to outdo itself this week.

The beauty of Week 7 is the many great matches between the relatively even teams.

To be honest, this means that real hassles can be hard to find. In fact, there are several rivalries this week with the higher-ranked team coming in as an underdog. However, the lines of odds makers are not the end.

So, here are the five teams on alert:

Red flags: 5 college football teams on sudden alert in Week 7

No. 8 Oklahoma State vs No. 13 TCU

As said earlier, there is a competition in the top 25 this week with a higher ranked underdog. Such is the case with Oklahoma and the TCU with a preference for two-horned frogs at home.

However, it would be unpleasant for the TCU to take down the number 8 team in the country.

While the Cowboys came into the season with expectations to compete for the Big 12 title, TCU was a surprise at the conference. They’re 5-0, they made Max Duggan play like the dark horse Heisman candidate and they come out with a win over Kansas which is an even bigger surprise.

SP+ has this as a literal throw. Both sides have a 50 percent chance of winning. It’s very close.
