She-Hulk Finale evoked Titania’s delicate comic costume in plain sight

The past two years of the Marvel Cinematic Universe have brought some major heroes and villains into the fold, subverting the expectations of their delicate comic traditions along the way. The latest project to do this is She-Hulk: Attorney at Lawwhich wrapped up its first season on Thursday with an earth-shattering finish. There was no shortage of final appearances, including Mary McFerran/Titania (Beautiful Beautiful), who briefly returned to fray during the episode’s main fight scene. While the beautiful Titania has worn some epic costumes all season (and even in real life), one moment she’ll miss from the end sparked one of her subtle comic looks. In the middle of the episode, Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk (Tatiana Maslany) actually breaks the fourth wall and ends up in our “real world,” where she confronts Marvel writers and producers for the direction her story is going. Scene In the She-Hulk Writers’ Room, memo boards can be seen in the background along with countless conceptual art pieces—including two showing Beautiful Titania in blue jeans, shoes, a purple jacket, and a white shirt. This is almost identical to the outfit Titania is currently wearing in the comics, especially in the most recent Strong woman Being.

Which is Strong womanTitania?

Created by Jim Shooter and Mike Zeke, Titania debuted in 1984 secret wars #3, and quickly became one of the She-Hulk’s longest-running competitors. After Doctor Doom gives her superhuman strength, she acts as a villain and enemy of some sort for Jane, as well as as a member of the Evil Lords and the Four Fearsome. She’s worked in the context of a bit more champs over the years, and recently formed a fight club with Jen which has allowed both of them to blast their powers together.

“We’ve broken the fourth wall,” said Jamil, “and that’s one of the most unique things about She-Hulk.” ComicBook.com In an interview earlier this season. “So I wanted to be able to do that. I’m a huge Marvel fan and I find it really fun to have the Marvel actors play with us. And once I got the role, I knew that was what I wanted to do in promoting this, really hands-on. So at Anytime I asked Marvel if we could do something, they said yes. They were so good, they would send my wigs and a team wherever I was, and we just kept doing these very silly stunts to keep the momentum going.”

“I think it’s really important that more shows are made to women around women, so you have to do everything you can to support and promote these shows,” Jamil continued. “And I just find it the most fun ways. One of my favorite things is that my acting style is after the role. Who can you say does that, eh? Jeremy Strong! Lady Gaga! What about that?”
