This week brought the end of the first season of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, the latest star-studded series set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The live-action Disney+ series featured a diverse cast of heroes and villains from across the Marvel canon, ranging from new faces to superstars. For many fans, it was definitely surreal to see some of these characters cross over during the season finale – and a new behind-the-scenes video takes that into whole new territory.
Actress Mary McFerran/Titania Jamil took to Twitter on Friday to reveal a new behind-the-scenes video from filming the finale — and more specifically, how some of the cast members spent time on set. The video, which you can check out below, shows actor Matt Murdock/Daredevil Charlie Cox, actor Bruce Banner/Hulk Mark Rufffalo, actor Emil Blonsky/Abomination Tim Roth, and Todd Phelps actor John Bass playing ping-pong during filming.

After breaking the internet with his appearance in Episode 8, Cox made Matt Murdock a brief – but memorable – return at the season finale. The Ranger’s appearance on the show was one of the most surprising elements of the series, and it was apparently a surreal moment for the series’ writing team as well.
“I think we might have spent the whole day shouting at the top of our voices to each other in the writer’s room with joy,” Strong woman Lead writer Jessica Gao shared an exclusive interview with ComicBook.com‘s phase zero Audio notation. “And in my experience there, it’s always carte blanche. You can ask anything. There’s no limit to what you can give. It’s just whether they’ll say yes or no. And I never know if they’ll say yes or no. No. I’ve been surprised more times.” From what I can count… We spent a whole afternoon screaming in delight like a group of teenage girls and then we sent her off and everyone was cool with her. Then we screamed for another whole day because everyone was cool with her.”
“It was an unexpected joy because I didn’t know what the plan was for this character,” Zhao continued. And in the same sentence that we were told we could use Daredevil, that he was on the table, we were also told that it was going to be Charlie Cox. And so that was a bunch of information we had to process right now. He’s so cool. He has such respect for the character, like Such a love for this character that there is a part of him. But he was also very open and playful to enjoy and really the perfect guest. He came in, he was ready to have fun, he was open about everything and he killed him. Also you can’t fake the chemistry he has with Tatiana. Incredible chemistry. .”
