The chainsaw explained the powers and capabilities of man

The first episode of Chainsaw Man was recently released, creating a world of demons and hunters who kill these monsters. Dingy is a child under a mountain of debt, trying to live his life and finally achieve his dreams. He had a pet demon named Pochita, which he used as a chainsaw. Denji initially becomes a demon hunter in order to help pay off his debts to the Yakuza. While Denji and Bushita have multiple jobs to make money, devil hunting is the most profitable.

At the end of the first episode, Denji and Bushita made a new deal and merged into one. In exchange for living a normal life and fulfilling the dreams he talked about, Pochita becomes the new dingy heart.

Denji possesses demonic powers while also maintaining his human form

Being half human and half demon, Denji is able to transform himself into a chainsaw man. While in this form, he maintains his human personality but is endowed with demon powers. Usually, a dingy appears as a normal human with a wire sticking out of his chest. Whenever he pulls the rope, his body transforms into its hybrid form. Its head turns into an orange mechanical head with long white teeth. From his forehead comes a fully functional saw. His arms are also separated from his elbow down by other fully functional saws as well.

Each chainsaw is deadly and extremely effective at chopping anything, including demons. Moreover, Denji is more endurance, being able to withstand strong blows and is thrown into the fight. His body was also put back together even after he was torn to shreds by zombies. Denji has an incredibly high endurance that allows him to fight for much longer than the average human. Even after cutting off dozens of zombies and demon zombies, it still stands.

He is also much more powerful than a normal human, with half of his strength coming from his demonic counterpart. During his first transformation, he was strong enough to get out of a pile of zombies. These abilities help him compete against larger and stronger demons that he would not be able to fight as a normal human.

Now, being a half demon, dingy is able to regenerate like a demon. Pochita is proven to be able to heal by consuming blood, and the demon gave this power to Denji after he fused with him. When first introduced, it appeared that Denge had lost an eye, a kidney, and other body parts that he had sold. After merging with Pochita, his body is reassembled, and his eyes (and possibly other organs) are back and functioning as well.

While in his hybrid form, a dingy is able to dissolve his demonic form back into a human. Reversing also undoes the torn body caused by track saws when initially shifting and leaves only the rope in the chest behind.
