You can check out our review of Edge of Spider-Verse #1 here. Our Nicole Drum hopes for better things in the future:

Overall, Edge of Spider-Verse #1 isn’t a bad comic. The art throughout is solid, if at times ‘Marvel’ in style except for the Spider-Noir story which is just fantastic. The problem also isn’t completely masking its threat to provoke you. You get an idea of what’s to come even if the full story isn’t fully formed, which makes sense since there are fewer issues to come up with and more characters to get into this mess. The real challenge here is the approach of having short, disconnected stories that often get lost in Tired of this juvenile stuff. The main series has a lot of ground to cover and that means a lot of risking being too much. That’s the case here. Hopefully things will get better in the future.”
