‘Mammals’ teaser: James Corden, Sally Hawkins Star (TV news report)

Prime Video has released the official trailer for the upcoming black comedy-drama series “Mammals,” starring James Corden and Sally Hawkins. All six episodes will be dropped on November 11th.

Directed by Stephanie Laing and written by Jez Butterworth, “Mammals” follows Jamie (Corden), a chef who discovers shocking secrets about his pregnant wife Amandine (Melia Kreyling). Jimmy searches for answers with the help of his brother-in-law Jeff (Colin Morgan), but stumbles when rifts occur in Jeff’s marriage to Jimmy’s sister Louie (Hawkins) along the way.

Apple TV+ has released the official trailer for the original preschool series “Slumberkins,” which will premiere worldwide on November 4.

From The Jim Henson Company, the series follows the adventures of Bigfoot, Unicorn, Sloth, Yak and Fox as they promote children’s emotional wellness through exploration of emotions. The voice actors include Brayden Morgan as Bigfoot, Olive Petty as the unicorn, Miles Flack as a sloth, Araceli Prasartongosoth as Yak and Jonas Kiripip as Fox, with Jennifer Hill narration.

“Slumberkins” was created for TV by Alex Rockwell and features original music from Ingrid Michaelson, who serves as executive music producer. Jim Henson CEO Halle Stanford produces alongside Rockwell. Callie Christensen and Kelly Oriard, creators of the Slumberkins brand, serve as co-executive producers. Dr. Dan Siegel, Executive Director of the Mindsight Institute, serves as an expert in attachment and human development.

Prime Video has announced a December 13 premiere date for “Dr. Seuss Baking Challenge,” which will pit die-hard confectioners against each other in an eight-episode baking competition. The series will also be available to stream on Amazon Freevee.

Contestants compete for a grand prize of US$50,000 and will create innovative culinary creations based on prompts inspired by Dr. Seuss characters such as “The Grinch” and “The Cat in the Hat.” Celebrity bakers Clarice Lamm and Joshua John Russell will judge each dessert based on flavor, creativity, and storytelling.

The series will be hosted by Tamera Mowry-Housley, who previously won the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Entertainment Talk Show Presenter on “The Real” in 2018.

ABC has announced that additional artists will be joining the upcoming special “Beauty and the Beast: The Thirtieth Celebration.” Comedian Martin Short will play Lumiere, actor David Alan Greer will play Cogsworth, Rizwan Manji will be joined as Gaston’s loyal Lofo sidekick, and Jon Jon Briones will play Bill Morris’ father. Country pop artist Shania Twain will join rising actor Leo Abello Berry in playing mother-son duo Mrs. Potts and Chip.

The new additions follow previous announcements that singer-songwriter HER will play the role of Belle, actor Josh Groban will play Beast, Joshua Henry will play Gaston and Rita Moreno will play the narrator of that night. John M Choo will produce the special, and Hamish Hamilton will direct the film.

The beloved “Beauty and the Beast” movie will be reimagined for two hours before a live audience at Disney Studios and airs Thursday, December 15 on ABC and on Disney+ the following day. The program will be presented under the theme The Wonderful World of Disney.

Vice Media Group announced Monday that Jesse Angelou, president of global news and entertainment, will now receive assistance from a newly promoted team of leaders in managing the company’s news, publishing and television divisions.

Cory Hayek, formerly Chief Digital Officer for Vice Media, will now serve as General Manager Operations for News and Entertainment, working under Angelo.

According to Nielsen data, the October 5 season 2 premiere of “Chucky” on Syfy and USA Network attracted 385,000 viewers of the 18-49 adult demographic and 675,000 viewers in total. These numbers are up 15% and 3%, respectively, compared to the series’ premiere.

According to the network, the movie “Reginald the Vampire”, which premiered on October 5, did well. The series’ debut was the highest-rated on Syfy since “Chucky” released its first episode in 2021. The first episode of the first season of “Reginald the Vampire” drew 172,000 viewers from the 18-49 adult demographic and 448,000 total viewers.

Initiatives

NBCUniversal has launched its 2022-23 Creator Accelerator Program, an industry-leading initiative aimed at identifying and developing the next generation of premium content creators. Creators have entered into development deals with Universal Studio Group to create original, original series of their creative roots. Programming

The Nacelle Company, the studio that produced “The Movies That Made Us,” “Games That Made Us,” “Behind The Attraction,” “Central Seat: 55 Years of Star Trek,” and more, announced that it will launch a 24/7 channel. NacellePop exclusively on Amazon Freevee on October 25th.

Notable titles that will be available on the channel at launch are five seasons of “A Toy Store Near You”, “Discontinued”, “Craig Ferguson Presents: Hobo Fabulous”, “That Guy… Who was In That Thing” and “That Gal”. …who was into that thing, “Dons of Disco” and more.

This marks Nacelle’s second OTT after the launch of Comedy Dynamics in 2014. The NacellePop channel will be distributed in partnership with Cinedigm.

The CW has announced the network’s lineup of this year’s holiday programming, featuring nine new specials alongside classics full of nostalgia. Releases include “Popstar’s Best of 2022,” which will reflect on the most memorable trends and moments of 2022 with host Elizabeth Stanton, and the third season finale of DC’s Stargirl TV series.

The one-hour “Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer” special will begin on November 25 – the day after Thanksgiving. Almost every night after 8 p.m., more holiday specials will air, culminating in a New Year’s Eve iHeartRadio Music Festival presentation.
