The House of the Dragon may have introduced another character who wants the throne

Warning: This article contains spoilers for the final episode of House of the Dragon… The hottest seat in Dragon House It will be in flux for the foreseeable future. After King Viserys’ death, Aegon II was crowned as the new king of Westeros, although Rhaenyra was the chosen successor. War is about to break out to decide who actually controls the world, but there may be more than just two Targaryen brothers trying to sit on the Iron Throne.

During one scene on Sunday’s episode of Dragon House, a young boy who seemed to have the same white hair as the Targaryen family was seen in a small establishment in Flea Bottom. The child is seen behind bars in a place where the children are fighting for money, and the camera has been on that particular kid for a while. While this may have been just a little boy in King’s Landing, it could also be a character known as Gaemon Palehair, a boy who grows up to be a pretend king in Westeros.

Who is Gaemon Palehair?

George RR Martin fire and blood He reveals that Gaemon Palehair is the son of a prostitute in King’s Landing. The boy’s mother, Issei, claims that he is actually the bastard son of Aegon II, who has just been crowned king.

During the Dance of the Dragons, the war that breaks out between Rhinera and Egon, Gaemon ends up proclaiming his supposed parents publicly. He tells people who he thinks his father is, and some believe him because of his hair color. The Targaryens have a very unique hair color, so it made sense that he could be related to the famous house, especially considering the amount of time Aegon spends with prostitutes.

Gaemon eventually ends up garnering thousands of followers at some point, convincing people that he must be the new king of the kingdom.

Was Gaemon Palehair in House of the Dragon?

There is no confirmation of the boy’s identity in the new episode of Dragon House. However, the evidence seems to favor the idea that the boy seen in the episode is Gaemon.

Eric and Eric discover the boy in a place they know Egon frequented, and connect him to the child’s location. There is also poetry, which is difficult to interpret as anything other than Targaryen’s roots. Besides all that, camera survival seems to indicate that the child could be important for one reason or another.
