The Heat have a way of flying under the radar these days, but Miami fans have plenty of reasons to be excited about the 2022-23 NBA season.

Erik Spoelstra deserves a lot of credit for keeping the heat in the mix for outperforming the Eastern Conference on an annual basis. Miami isn’t in the forefront of the minds of a lot of fans heading into opening night, but to overlook this team would be a huge mistake.

Pat Riley and his front desk didn’t change the team’s roster over the summer. This was the right move given the value of continuity in the Spoelstra system. PJ Tucker’s loss would take the sting in qualifying time, but the crew should have enough depth to absorb that loss.

Stars like Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo and Newly Paid Tyler Hero It will continue to make headlines in South Beach. What the team really needs is some internal improvement from less consistent players.

3. The Reappearance of Duncan Robinson

Some might consider this a bold prediction, but Robinson has the tools to enjoy the bounce season. His expectation dropped significantly last season, but he was still an above average shooter.

Robinson’s challenge is that he needs to be an elite shooter to overcome his defensive responsibilities. If he regains his three-point lead by more than 40%, it is easy to imagine a scenario where he becomes one of the best attacking wings in the league. Since he did it for Two seasons in a row before last year’s disappointing campaign The smart money is on Robinson to up his game in a big way.
