through its first season, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law It provided a lot of items that fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe didn’t know they needed. The series, which follows Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk (Tatiana Maslany) on her unconventional journey to become a superhero, was filled with references from across the Marvel canon — both in the comics and beyond. This included last weekend’s opening sequence, which perfectly celebrated the opening credits of the ’70s Incredible Hulk TV program. In an exclusive interview with ComicBook.com next Strong womanIn the end, lead writer Jessica Gao explains how this epic opening sequence turned out.
“One day, out of clear blue—this was after lockdown, so everyone was working from home—my fiancé, Truck Torrence, walked into the room I’m working in. I just declared, ‘I think you should open like a ’70s tribute Incredible Hulk. That’s it. “And then he just walked out of the room. And I thought, ‘That’s a great idea,’ and then I doubled down from there.”
“I’m so surprised that we actually did,” Zhao continued. “It looks great. Our second unit manager, who’s also our stunts coordinator, Monique Gunderton, brought it out. And you could tell Tatiana and Mark had a lot of fun in these ’70s outfits. In the scripts she wrote ‘Ruffalo is in Bill Bixby’s wig.'” But the cool thing is that Mark naturally has such beautiful curly hair, so we didn’t need to put a wig on it. Like his hair naturally could support this gorgeous ’70s volume. “
Will Strong woman Getting a second season?
At the time of writing this report, Strong woman It has not been confirmed that it has been renewed for a second season at Disney+. This isn’t entirely out of the ordinary in the MCU Disney+ show scene, as nearly all of them were stand-alone stories that later fed into movies or other properties, outside loki. But as Maslany told us, the events of the ending – including Jen’s match with “KEVIN” – definitely put Jen in a new setting, which ended up being as relatable as it was silly.
“It’s definitely been a journey for her,” Maslany explained elsewhere in the interview. “And as self-confident as she is and seems to have figured it all out, there’s definitely–and I think we get it in that one episode, the therapy circuit scene, where we feel like the core of what we feel like you isn’t enough, and maybe people just don’t like you for who you are. I think Jane She also wonders if she only loves herself for who she is, which makes She-Hulk feel like a cheater. And I love the idea. I think it’s very relatable.”
