3rd person mode in Resident Evil Village gets a free demo

During today’s Resident Evil Showcase, Capcom revealed that a demo of Resident Evil VillageThe upcoming third person mode will be available today on all current game platforms, including PlayStation, Xbox, and PC via Steam. The third person mode will be sold as part of the upcoming Winter’s Expansion DLC, and as part of the game’s Gold Edition. However, players will be able to test it for 60 minutes before they commit to a purchase. The demo will also include the traditional first person mode for those who haven’t played the game in any capacity. The show will be available starting at 4 PM PT on October 20.

Capcom says the third-person mode was created for a number of different reasons. For some players, the first-person perspective of a horror game can be too intimidating, while others may get sick; Others may just enjoy third person photos as a personal preference! The expansion should give players more freedom to play the game the way they prefer, and it will be interesting to see what reception looks like in the new mode.

While Ethan Winters has been the protagonist in the two Resident Evil games so far, the first person perspective in Resident Evil 7: Biological Hazard And the Resident Evil Village It mostly prevented players from seeing what his face looked like. While players will get a better look at the character thanks to the third person mode, Capcom doesn’t quite show his face just yet. During today’s broadcast, the company revealed that Ethan will turn his head away from the camera if players try to tweak him to see him!
