On the official Blizzard forums, the Overwatch 2 community manager revealed that the Junkertown escort map has been “temporarily disabled” from “all queues”. It is said that removing the map “due to a bug that caused graphic performance issues”. Blizzard has confirmed that they intend to have the map ready for re-release in game queues during the next title update scheduled for Tuesday, October 25. Junkertown will return on that date as well when Blizzard reintroduces Torbjorn and Bastion into the game.

The news that Junkertown is down and that Bastion or Torbjörn won’t be back for another six days, as expected, was met with derision by some sections of the player base. “How many bugs will this game have?” One user wrote in response to the forums. “Almost as if it was a rush or something.” Twitter user replied, “FIRST BASTION NOW AN ENTIRE TOWN” Despite being ignored by some, Overwatch 2’s player base in the first 10 days has crossed over 25 million players.
Monitor 2 It is currently free to play on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. While it appears that there will be an adjustment to Zarya in Total Mayhem as part of the main patch coming out on October 25, no further balance changes are expected for the Champions until Season 2.
