Powerful fan art episodes depicting the superiority of Halbrand Sauron

Ever since the end of the first season of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power Her fans have been reeling from the big reveal, even if they saw it a mile away. Confirming that Halbrand’s character Charlie Vickers was in fact, secretly, the villain Sauron all this time was something many had successfully predicted early in Episode 2, but that doesn’t mean he wasn’t devastating, or that his allure wasn’t alluring. To make things more complicated for everyone, including Galadriel, Halbrand gave her the opportunity to take his hand and rule over to her side, planting the idea in the heads of several members of the audience about a world ruled by Sauron and Galadriel together.

This new fan art piece for the series, which failed from Twitter user uzuriartonline, is a piece that exemplifies Halbrand’s ongoing plans for dominance in Middle-earth. Featuring Halbrand in front of hte photo of Sauron as fans got to know him, it’s a compelling piece that definitely made us feel good for Season 2 (which might not be sad for a while). Check it out for yourself below.

About halfway through the first season finale, Galadriel gathers the pieces together around a Sauron-sized Halband secret, which leads to his last attempt to persuade her to join him. This temptation takes the form of a vision, in which they can rule Middle-earth together side by side, but they do so on his very sinister terms.

“It was this scene, we would think about it a lot and draw on the seduction scene in it fellowship, “Executive Producer and Writer Jennifer Hutchison revealed to ComicBook.com about the Sauron/Galadriel scene.” And you’re really thinking, she’s so relieved when she passed that test, but she really showed that side of herself that was surprising at the time. And so you really want to include in this idea, what have you been through? where are you from? And in a way, you’re probably trying to build up more of the backstory for that moment. So when you look at that moment now, you might think about it like, “Oh, my God. This is a more important test for her,” because it’s like closing the last door to this thing we started here. We talked about that scene all the time.”
