Naughty Dog sees a future for its PC games after the release of Unknown: The Legacy of Thieves. Over the past few years, PlayStation has been steadily moving towards the PC to increase its audience. The strategy seems to be to release the games years after they’ve been released on PlayStation, once the game’s sales have weakened a bit or when there’s another sequel/product about to roll out on consoles. It allows Sony to double sales and possibly entice gamers interested in other upcoming projects and sequels, and perhaps even prompt them to buy a console if there’s enough excitement.
One of the biggest first-party teams on PlayStation just released, Naughty Dog Unknown: The Legacy of Thieves for the computer. It’s the first studio-exclusive PlayStation game released for PC and looks like it won’t be the last. The studio has already confirmed that it’s working on bringing Our last part 1 For PC at some point which seems to be part of a larger plan for the platform.
