Resident Evil creators seem equally willing to remake the series’ games as they roll out new releases, but not every game gets the new treatment. Resident Evil Code: Veronica, In particular, it was overtaken in terms of remanufacturing as Capcom moved from Resident Evil 3 direct to Resident Evil 4. That’s not to say fans didn’t ask, however, for pretty much any online paraphrase discussion featuring at least one question asking about Code: Veronica A remake, but based on Capcom’s latest comments, there don’t seem to be any plans to make that happen at the moment.
Amidst the recent news, Resident Evil focused on Resident Evil 4 RemakeAnd the NoisyPixel talk to Resident Evil 4 Producer Yoshiaki Hirabayashi talks about the possibility of a Code: Veronica remake. When asked if there was such a thing in the cards, Hirabayashi said there are currently no plans for such a new release, although “the opportunity has come, perhaps.”
So it’s by no means a “yes,” but it’s definitely not a “no” either. However, one has to take into account Capcom’s timeline with its remakes as well. The first complete new edition was for Resident Evil 2 with Resident Evil 3 Then, early next year, we’ll see the new version of Resident Evil 4 Release. Although there are still a lot of audio fans asking for a file Code: Veronica Remake, it seems unlikely Capcom will ever back down Resident Evil 5 – A unique multiplayer twist on the Resident Evil mode – is technically next in line for your consideration next Resident Evil 4.
Code: Veronica, for those unfamiliar with the game, features Claire Redfield and Chris Redfield. You can still buy it on digital storefronts, but since it was initially introduced in 2000 and hasn’t been modified since Code: Veronica X The port was released over 10 years ago, and it doesn’t work nearly as well as the newer ones.
