Resident Evil Producer addresses the potential to remake Code Veronica

Resident Evil creators seem equally willing to remake the series’ games as they roll out new releases, but not every game gets the new treatment. Resident Evil Code: Veronica, In particular, it was overtaken in terms of remanufacturing as Capcom moved from Resident Evil 3 direct to Resident Evil 4. When asked if there was such a thing in the cards, Hirabayashi said there are currently no plans for such a new release, although “the opportunity has come, perhaps.”

So it’s by no means a “yes,” but it’s definitely not a “no” either. However, one has to take into account Capcom’s timeline with its remakes as well. The first complete new edition was for Resident Evil 2 with Resident Evil 3 Then, early next year, we’ll see the new version of Resident Evil 4 Release.
