Henry Cavill is officially back as Superman. After a hiatus of years, the actor is back as Man of Steel during the closing moments of Black Adam. In another world, which one made twilight Author Stephenie Meyer, Cavill would also be one of the world’s most famous vampires: Edward Cullen.
When Twilight Saga was first chosen by Lionsgate’s Summit Entertainment, Mayer wrote in a blog post that she was hoping Cavill would end up playing the role. Now on the press tour of Enola Holmes 2Cavill said he could have played the character if he had known about the project.

When will Man of Steel 2 be released?
Thanks to Cavill’s return, Warner Brothers executives have reportedly opened themselves up to the idea of a direct sequel to Man of Steel, although it has yet to officially get the green light. In fact, Cavill has yet to sit down with new DC Studios president James Gunn.
“I haven’t met James yet,” Cavill told IGN last month. “I look forward to meeting him. He is obviously a very talented guy, and I can’t wait to sit down and have long conversations with him. I am so excited to have him there and so excited for any future opportunities we can work together.”
