Crown Jewel: WWE reveals SmackDown’s Jay Uso’s injury

WWE’s Undisputed Champions Usos put their championships on the line at Crown Jewel against the Brawling Brutes, but before the match could even begin, WWE dropped some significant news. Michael Cole has revealed that Ji Uso believes his wrist is broken and that the injury occurred during the European Tour. He is due to get an MRI on Monday to get a clear picture of the injury, but he wasn’t about to let their title shrink, so he bandaged him as best he could to compete in the Crown Jewel match.

Cole also said that regardless of his wrist condition, he plans to defend the Tag Team Championship next Friday on SmackDown as well, where Usos will have a match scheduled against Xavier’s Woods and Kofi Kingston.

Hopefully this is just a kayfabe, but it may not be very good. If it’s a legitimate hit, we hope there’s nothing serious that will require The Usos to clear the titles, as there will likely be a bigger plan in place for Title Reign given that it’s part of The Bloodline’s story as a whole.

Despite the injury, Gee made it through today’s game against Ridge Holland and Butch. It looked a little shaky at times, but the Usos would win and retain the Tag Team Championship, and now they face The New Day.

As for the next step for them, we still have to see, but we’ve received quite a few teasers from the Viking Raiders and their latest addition, which appears to be Sarah Logan. The Vikings Raiders are dealing with an injury as well, which is why they’ve been out of WWE TV apart from the teasers, but with one every week recently, their comeback may be imminent, and they’ll be making an exciting match. for Usos.
