When asked if he recognizes Roman Reigns as “the chief of the tribe,” Johnson said to Chris Van Vliet, “I (acknowledge them), this is my family.” “I think these guys are doing a great job and I think this interesting transformation that the company has gone through this year, is unexpected in many ways. But when that kind of way, shape and fashion, especially in this business, you have to have the potential. And agility is on pivoting, which is what they enjoy. So with Roman, I think he’s doing a pretty good job and the boys too, whispers too.”
But when asked in a separate interview with E! News’ rundown Who is “Head of the Table” (a nickname Reigns put on himself referring to him as the leader and breadwinner of the Anoa’i family), Johnson said, “Without mentioning any names, you’re looking him in the eye now.” Reigns did not answer the question, but the Bloodline member was asked. Sikoa is one of the newest members of the group and is the brother of both Jimmy and Jey Uso, making him Johnson’s cousin. The dream match between Reigns and The Rock has been rumored to have been around WrestleMania 39 for over a year, although neither man has admitted that this happened. When asked about that match, Sequah said, “When the time comes, man, rocker and roman will be a great thing to see in the future.” Reigns will surpass 800 consecutive days as world champion this week while The Usos will set the record for the longest tag team championship in WWE history if they can beat The New Day in a slam this week.
