Josh Allen brutally grilled himself after the Bills lost the Jets

Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen criticized himself after the team became upset with rival New York Jets.

The Buffalo Bills came back from their farewell last week, knocking out Sunday Night Football with a 27-17 victory over the Green Bay Packers to extend their winning streak. In the ninth week, they headed to East Rutherford, New Jersey to face the New York Jets, who lost to the New England Patriots.

This was not the easy game for Bills as some expected. The Jets proved to be a problem for Biles, and the 20-17 win cut Biles’ lead in first place in the East Asia region to half a game.

After the contest, quarterback Josh Allen criticized his play in the game, saying, “It’s hard to win when your quarterback plays like s***.”

Josh Allen criticizes performance in Gates loss

Allen had no MVP-level performance on the MetLife Arena.

On his first game drive, Allen threw a pass assigned to Dawson Knox’s tight end which was intercepted by Jordan Whitehead’s safety. Fortunately for Allen, this play did not score points. But his second objection to the game did.

New York had 14 campaigns to start the second half, but midfielder Bills von Miller was able to dismiss Zach Wilson to defend the foul, whose defense was restored by AJ Epenesa.

Allen was sacked for a seven-yard loss by Quinnen Williams in the first play of the new Buffalo Drive. But in the second, Allen threw a pass assigned to wide receiver Gabriel Davis, but it was picked up by Jets Rookie Cornerback Sauce Gardner.

The Jets responded four plays later with a seven-yard touchdown pass from Wilson to linebacker James Robinson.

Near the end of the game, the Jets took a 20-17 lead in a 28-yard field goal by Greg Zuerlein. The Bills had one last chance to take the lead, but they went four times. Allen was actually sacked for a heavy loss and fumbled in football. Meanwhile, Allen’s pass to Davis was cut short by Gardner to take the win for New York.

That day, Allen completed 18 of 34 pass attempts for 205 yards and zero touchdowns, while throwing the aforementioned pickups. Allen ran for 86 yards and landed two on nine buses.

Allen and the Bills will be looking to put that loss behind them, but they will have a massive opponent in Week 10 when they face the 7-1 Minnesota Vikings.
