As it was revealed while CBS was making its Fall 2022 TV premieres to its audience, NCIS The franchise is set to offer First ever 3-series crossover eventwith the main drama (technically JAG spinoff) to cross the country to cross paths with NCIS: Hawaii And the NCIS: Los Angeles. Now, the network has finally revealed when the three-hour block will appear, as well as what viewers can expect to see when they appear.
Luckily for everyone who can’t wait to see the respective teams mix it up, NCIS It won’t make us wait long once the new year comes around. CBS revealed that the three-way crossover will occur on Monday, January 2, and will run for full prime times from 8:00-11:00 p.m. ET. (All eps files will also be available to stream the next day as Paramount + subscription.) Now let’s take a closer look at how the night breaks down in each drama.
NCIS
Understandably, the crossover action night won’t start with a comedic farce, but rather a surprise murder that will launch the overarching and interconnected case. Check out the summary of 1 o’clock in the night, with NCIS kick things off.
- NCIS agents from Washington, D.C., Los Angeles, and Hawaii, all in D.C. for the retirement party of a beloved professor at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC), find themselves jointly investigating his horrific suicide.
As much as viewers can expect to see choppy locations for this episode, Too Many Chefs will be welcomed. NCIS: LA Stars LL Cool J and Chris O’Donnell as Sam and Callen, respectively, as well NCIS: HawaiiVanessa Lachey and Noah Mills as Tennant and Jesse. From there the night will jump to…
NCIS: Hawaii
The second hour of the Great Crossing event will focus on NCIS: Hawaii Within the usual time slot, here’s what CBS says we should expect to see from Chapter Two.
- Tennant, Jimmy Palmer (Brian Dietzen) and Sam Hanna (LL Cole J) find themselves imprisoned with a woman claiming to be a CIA agent who demands Intel from the team. Also, Jesse, Ernie Whistler and Alden Parker (Gary Cole) learn about an asset that arrived in Hawaii that could be linked to several overseas assassinations.
The synopsis of this episode was clearly much friendlier about revealing who will be involved. The episode (titled “Deep Fake”) will be welcome for a long time NCIS It stars Brian Dietzen as Jimmy, Gary Cole as Parker, and the aforementioned duo of LL Cool J and Chris O’Donnell as Sam and Callen. Someone better make sure the latter two don’t get used to crossing over with the shows they start appearing on CBS’ Tuesday evening shows and beyond. Or wait, we want that.
NCIS: Los Angeles
Now we should be able to see Sam and Callen back home, at least assuming they haven’t stayed out of town when the episode schedule begins. (It is technically possible that this watch of the intersection can focus entirely on Los AngelesRowntree, Fatima and guest stars. Here’s what fans can expect:
- While Agent Rountree and Fatima search for Kilbride, who was MIA, they are ambushed and learn that each team member has a $200,000 bounty on their head across the dark web. The NCIS team must rescue Agent Rountree and find Kilbride while every cartel, hitman, gang, and psychopath hunt them down.
As much as these guest stars will be, fans will watch Gary Cole get a three-show poster to appear on all shows, and he’ll be joined by HawaiiVanessa Lachey in this regard. That’s not all, though, as Torres Wilmer Valderrama and Lucy of Yasmine Bastami would also be in the mix. They’re used to this kind of thing, having been in previous crossovers, like the ones starting in the current seasons of the drama, but this will be the first time they’ve headed to the NCIS: Los Angeles Appropriate.
Given that this is the first time we’ll see such a big crossover, it looks like it would be a good time for a surprise comeback from vet Mark Harmon, who notably pulled out of the role of Leroy Gibbs early in Season 19. But This is not possibleAnd maybe we shouldn’t expect anything else Surprises like DiNozzo by Michael Weatherly or Linda Hunt returns as Hettybut there is nothing to prevent anyone from submitting an application to Santa Claus for him.
