Pokemon makes Ash the World’s Pokemon Master after 25 years

Pokemon has finally done it. In April 1997, the series appeared with Ash Ketchum on hand, and the boy wanted nothing more than to become the world of Pokemon Master. Now, his dream has been recognized. It’s been 25 years since we first met Ash Ketchum, and today, the boy is crowned the world’s Pokemon Master after defeating the reigning champion in battle.

The big reveal began live in Japan as Pokemon Journeys released the new episode. The update has been on everyone’s mind lately as Pokémon promised to end Ash’s match with Leon. In the lead up, Ash gave the Galar legend a run for it, but Leon was able to outsmart Ash in several key moments. But in the end, the World Championships ended with Ash being sprinkled on the podium.

Ash wants to be the best

It’s hard to believe that Ash became the hero he set out to become, and of course, he encountered a lot more along the way. Back in 1997, fans watched the boy stumble against the simplest Pokémon, but he always had Pikachu on his side. There have also been countless travel companions besides Ash over the decades, and many have taken to watching him become the world’s Pokemon Master this season.

This represents the biggest win in Ash’s life, and comes after many close calls. Ash fought dozens of tournaments and finals to no avail. However, that all changed when Pokemon: Sun and Moon brought its anime back to life. At the end of the show, Ash is crowned the champion of Alolan, and his adventures in Pokemon expeditions begin soon after. Now, the question remains what Ash will do next. He has reached his long-term goal, and recent rumors suggest that the anime could come to an end completely now that our hero has become a true master. But for now, all we can do is celebrate Ash’s victory and wait to hear his next move.
