Season 6 of My Hero Academia has amplified the superhero liberation war by volumes since the heroes’ onslaught first began, and with Shigaraki awakening with a large portion of All For One’s Quirk at his disposal now, crime fighters are now playing defense. While Shigaraki and “Near High-End Nomu” keep many heroes’ hands full, Midnight and many of the young heroes in Class 1-A are dealing with a very big problem in the form of the Gigantomachia rampage.
Midnight has been a valuable teacher to Class 1-A throughout their brief career at UA Academy, helping them master their quirks while giving students pivotal information when it comes to how to fight the wave of evil that threatens the hero community. Unfortunately, during this latest clash of good and evil, Midnight finds itself on the receiving end of an attack from the young members of the League of Villains, who are riding on the back of the larger-than-life threat known as Gigantomachia. With a desperate attempt by the raging giant to reunite with Shigaraki, the man he now calls Master, Midnight’s plan to put him to sleep using the Quirk encounters a serious speed bump, as the bad guys begin to rally them on a UA teacher who has taken some terrible injuries.

With the bad guys approaching midnight, she summons the best Cretan criminal fighter and her fellow students in both Class 1-A and Class 1-B to give their all in defeating Gigantomachia. In the world of UA, it seems illegal to use sedatives when it comes to throwing them at the bad guys, but Midnight assures Creati will need to create some pods so that the UA students can slow down their grandiose rampage bad guys.
So far, during this latest season, we’ve seen the demise of the evil Twice, along with a number of big-time heroes like Crust and X-Less turned to dust thanks to Shigaraki’s awakening. Rest assured, these losses are only the beginning and things aren’t looking great for midnight after the events of this latest episode.
