Dragon Ball Cosplay gives OG Yamcha a feminine makeover

Yamcha can’t transform into a Super Saiyan or use the power of Ultra Instinct, but the former thief has found a solid fan base for himself in the Dragon Ball community. While Yamcha has mostly stuck to his orange device when going into battle over the course of both Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball Super, one cosplayer decided to revisit his days from the original series as he donned a look more in keeping with his bandit ways.

It’s incredibly difficult to be human in the Dragon Ball universe, with Earth warriors having a hard time keeping up with Saiyans who can harbor multiple transformations, along with other alien races who can routinely have new forms to rely on to quickly power up. A recent story where Yamcha managed to shine was in the spin-off, Dragon Ball: It was then that he reincarnated me as Yamchawhere large dragon pallfan is accidentally killed and transported to the Shonen world with all of his prior knowledge of the series intact. Although this show hasn’t appeared on the small screen, we can see a made-in-the-future special that documents this stranger dragon ball tale.

OG Yamcha to the rescue

Ilia Fury of Instagram took the opportunity to show off her role of Yamcha in the outfit he first appeared in during the original Dragon Ball series, eventually trading his thieves outfit for the traditional orange outfit worn by those under Master Roshi’s tutelage:

during the latest Dragon Ball Heroes Arc, Yamcha finds himself having a strange girlfriend while trying to save her life while she fights against his powerful allies, including the Universe Six Hitman known as Hit. While it doesn’t seem like Yamcha will gain the ability to reach Ultra Instinct during this latest arc, he definitely plays a much more role here than he did during the Tournament of Power, which is great for fans of a previous rogue.
