Magic Mike is getting ready for one last ride and will be on the big screen next year. Channing Tatum returns to play his beloved stripper Magic Mike’s Last Dancewhich will come out Magic Mike Triple. The movie was initially planned as a streaming exclusive to HBO Max, but has since been remastered for a theatrical release. We may still be a few months away from said release, but fans will get a big glimpse of footage from the new movie this week.

Steven Soderbergh, who directed the first film Magic Mike A movie back at the helm Magic Mike’s Last Dance. Screenwriter Red Caroline returns to write the new script. Tatum is playing the titular stripper for the third time, with Salma Hayek also starring in the film. The role was initially given to Thandie Newton, but conflict caused Hayek to take her place.

Magic Mike’s Last Dance It was initially intended as a streaming release, but pivoted away from Warner Bros.’ high-profile streaming projects. This trilogy actually helped. Instead of being cancelled, the film was sent to theaters, where Mike’s story would be finalized on the big screen.
