WWE’s main event plan for Survivor Series War Games On November 26th, The Bloodline vs. There was some concern that Owens might have to miss the event after suffering a sprained MCL during a live event last weekend. However, PWInsider has now reported that Owens is still scheduled to travel to the next two episodes of SmackDown, so it looks like the injury won’t keep him out of the match.
Owens has a lot of history with Reigns and the Universal Championship, but he’ll likely come into the match to try and make some sense to Zayn for siding with the faction as “The Honorary Uce.” It was recently reported that an Owens/Zayn storyline was in the cards, but the sudden popularity of Zayn’s involvement in the group caused WWE to put plans on hold. As a result, Owens has not participated in a televised match since late September.

Talk to Zayn WWE Die Woche last month and shed some light on WWE’s original plans to partner him with Roman Reigns’ faction. He said: “The whole thing has evolved a bit from the initial idea. I love where we’re at now, and I think a lot of the fans are enjoying it. I’m glad it went the way it did. The idea wasn’t necessarily to join the bloodline because I didn’t think that It’s possible. It’s the bloodline, it should be blood, right?”
Zayn continued, “The idea was that I would call myself the head of the locker room at the time. Roman Reigns is the head of the table.” “The idea was to have an on-screen relationship where I check in with him, he checks in with me, and I can help him when the time is right. That kind of thing. Then I shifted and evolved into this. It was definitely a collaborative process with everyone involved. Everyone’s really in their full roles in The future and that’s what makes it work so well. Everyone’s committed to that. And the fans, I see them anticipate what’s going to happen every week after that, and that’s what they think will ever happen. That’s what I love. I love it when it’s semi-predictable, but it’s not at all predictable.”
