The end-game moment, concluding the 30-year-old story

Spoilers follow! The last episode of Chuckyseason 2, episode 7, it was basically Avengers: Endgame From the entire franchise, each thread brings together a dangling plot and a character who has survived the puppet-killer’s terrifying reign over the past three decades. As fans who watch the series know, many familiar faces have appeared throughout the show’s run including Alex Vincent as Andy Barclay from Children’s play 1Kristen Elise as Kyle Who Children’s play 2plus Fiona Drive from Curse / Cult of Chucky. Take all of that, add in the new characters from the first two seasons of the TV series, plus Lachlan Watson as the Chucky Glen/Glenda kids, and you have a stacked list of horror survivors; And this week, they all shared a scene.

The Catholic school of the Lord Incarnate was the main setting for the second season of the series, and all other plot points converged there in episode of Chucky 2.07. Jake, Devon, and Lexy along with Good Chucky form one part of Chucky’s moment in “Avengers,” as Good Chucky is another Good Guy Doll and is intended as a vessel for “Chucky Prime,” a version of Brad Dourif’s serial killer who shares his body with cute Fiona Pierce. On the flip side of that, you also have Andy, having survived the explosive truck crash in the first episode, and Kyle, who brings Glenda and Nica to Chucky’s old land.

The episode revolves around each character’s confession before Good Chucky’s exorcism, providing viewers with unique insight into each of them, while giving them all plenty of time to interact together. Andy and Kristen are reunited for the first time since Season 1, plus Andy finally gets the chance to meet Nika for the first time ever. It’s all coupled with Glenda’s presence, and the fact that “Chucky Prime” (aka the first Charles Lee Ray, the original, Charles Lee Ray) is brought back inside a good guy doll.

All of these franchise characters sharing a scene together is one thing fans enjoy but the episode’s ending, which seems to suggest that Andy and Kyle’s story is finally over makes it that much sweeter. After Chucky Prime is put back inside his Good Guy Doll, Dr. Mixter escapes with him, causing Andy to chase after him and eventually shoot Chucky, killing him.

The nightmare appears to be over, finally, really over, as Andy and Kyle briefly talk about their future and the future of the children before them. “I haven’t thought about my future since first grade,” Andy says. Kyle replies, “Lucky for you, you have the rest of your life to figure out.” When the pair emerge from Lord Incarnate, the series flashbacks back to its conclusion Children’s play 2, in which Eugene Andy and Kyle exit the Good Guy Doll Factory together. “where are we going?” says the young character. She replied, “Andy, I have no idea.” And their story finally comes full circle and seems complete.

That is until we see the final scene of the episode, and Dr. Mixter driving her car away. We first mention her confession with Devon’s father Sawa Price, where she promises to “unleash Chucky in the world again,” only to have her back in the car when she lets out a very familiar laugh…
