Green Wednesday is said to have been coined by Eaze, a California-based cannabis delivery service (per AdWeek). In 2016, the company announced a “Green Wednesday” campaign, which offered a variety of deals the day before Thanksgiving. In turn, they saw a rise in sales.
Before long, other weed companies followed suit and capitalized on the trendy tradition. Thus, Green Wednesday was born!
