A thousand-year blood war in Bleach It just hit the heart of Soul Society with its latest anime episode, as the fight between Yamamoto and Yhwach spells disaster for the Soul Reapers. Picking up the pieces, Ichigo will have to do some serious heavy lifting if he wants to stop the Wandenreich’s reign of terror, but the force behind Sternritter may be too much for the alternate resident Soul Reaper to handle. Now new images of the seventh episode of the anime have appeared.
The Thousand Year Blood War wastes no time proving that this Shonen arc may be the bloodiest arc of the franchise yet. Turning on the ground floor, the Wandenreich not only prove their strength by slashing their way through Arrancar and Soul Reapers alike, but they also steal their fair share of Bankais from not only the lower shinigami that make up the superpower, but also the captains they once fought against Ichigo. With Yamamoto seemingly losing his life thanks to Yhwach’s power and the strategy that made the partner start the fight, Ichigo will have a fight on his hands, unlike anything an alternate Soul Reaper has seen before.

A thousand-year blood war in Bleach She posted new images for Episode VII which sees Ichigo Kurosaki struggling in what may be his first encounter with the Yhwach, following the possible demise of the most powerful Soul Reaper that has led the afterlife organization since the beginning of the Shonen franchise:

While the anime adaptation has just begun the Blood War, the future of the manga is yet to be decided at this point after Tite Kubo returns to his masterpiece last year, introducing readers to Ichigo and company years after the battle against the Wandenreich ended. The special chapter ended completely on a cliffhanger as the Soul Society learned a dark secret regarding what happens to their powerful captains when they are killed in battle and how these events turn them into potential threats.
