Pokémon Scarlet and Violet: How to Evolve Bramblin’

Pokemon scarlet and violet It has new Pokemon with an interesting new evolution mechanic and the potential to be a top-tier competitive Pokemon. One of the many new Pokemon present in the Pokemon scarlet and violet It is Bramblin, a new Grass/Ghost type Pokémon that is literally a sentient grass. Bramblin has a dark past, where he was apparently a human spirit who was unable to pass on to the afterlife, and eventually became entangled with dried grass and became a Pokémon. Given that Bramblin is a common Pokemon in both the Asado Desert and the desert region of the Eastern Province, this means that a lot of souls have fallen into the grass and become Pokemon.

Bramblin evolves into Brambleghast, a larger Grass/Ghost-type Pokémon covered in thick spines. However, Bramblin does not evolve when it reaches a certain level. Instead, players must use Bramblin in “Let’s Go” mode and have him “walk” 1,000 steps. Once he meets the requirement of 1,000 steps, the next time he levels up, he will evolve into Brambleghast. You can check out both Bramblin and Brambleghast below:

Bramblin and its evolution, Brambleghast, both come with an interesting ability, which should make this Pokemon a popular choice in competitive play. Both Pokémon have the ability “Wind Rider” which increases their attack power when Tailwind is in effect or if they are hit by “wind action”, which includes moves such as Gust, Blizzard, Icy Wind, Sandstorm, Petal Blizzard, and Air Cutter. Given that Tailwind is a common setting move in two-player play, Brambleghast in particular can be a powerful Pokémon that can counter an opponent’s team’s Tailwind setup or take advantage of a player using Tailwind on their own team.

Pokemon scarlet and violet Available now on Nintendo Switch.
