Nintendo Switch Online makes new Pokémon stuff available

to coincide with the release of Scarlet Pokemon And the VioletNintendo is giving Nintendo Switch Online members some new freebies associated with the franchise. Outside of giving subscribers an extensive catalog of older games to access through Switch Online, Nintendo often offers some other goodies for those who provide the service. Now Switch Online members will be able to disable a number of different codes related to Pokemon.

Starting this week and running through December 25th, Nintendo is creating several codes associated with Scarlet Pokemon And the Violet Available Through the “Quests and Rewards” section of Switch Online. Currently, three of these symbols are available to earn at this very moment as part of Wave 1 and feature the new starter Pokemon from carmine And the Violet. Wave 2 will then start on November 24 with the addition of two new tokens and wave 3 will follow a week later. Waves 4 and 5 will then continue in this weekly rhythm leading up to December 25th as the promotion ends.

In general, game icons are something Nintendo has started to offer a lot across Nintendo Switch Online over the past year or so. And while some of these tokens have been linked to older Nintendo games or franchises, it’s great to see that the Japanese game publisher has managed to bring this month’s rotation in line with carmine And the Violet.

As always, it’s worth emphasizing that if you want to get any of these Pokemon Icons for yourself, you’ll technically have to buy them using your Platinum Points. Although this means that the codes are not technically “free”, Platinum Points are earned once you complete the tasks offered by Nintendo Switch Online. These tasks are often quite simple, which means it shouldn’t take much to earn and invest that currency in carmine And the Violet user codes.

Are you looking to get these Pokémon Icons for yourself with Nintendo Switch Online? And what kind of additional goodies are you hoping to see land in service down the road? Let me know either down in the comments or message me on Twitter at Trustworthy.
