One of our favorite Star Wars traditions is the debut of the newest round of bomber jackets from Columbia. The partnership with Disney/Lucasfilm is now in its eighth year, and the theme for 2022 is the popular animated series The Clone Wars. The Book of Boba Fett design from last year was great, but they’ve taken things a step further this time with an Ahsoka Tano-inspired jacket, Obi-wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker-inspired hoodies, and a line of hoodies. Your chance to own it will happen on the 2nd of DecemberAnd everything you need to know to make it happen can be found here. You’ll need it because Columbia’s Star Wars sweatshirts are limited editions that sell out lightning fast each year.
As with previous Star Wars jacket designs, Columbia packs each with the latest cold-weather technologies like 650 ll Ultra Insulation and Omni-Heat Infinity, a heat-reflective pattern that improves heat retention and breathability. You can see it in the shiny gold lining of Ahsoka Tano’s jacket. Each Star Wars sweatshirt also includes fun details like Aurebesh coded labels. In other Ahsoka Tano news, Ashley Eckstein will return as the voice of Ahsoka Tano in the upcoming Tales of the Jedi animated series on DIsney+. She recently spoke to ComicBook.com about all the attention her character is getting now with the animation revival and Rosario Dawson’s live-action portrayal.
“I think I’m excited for more Ahsoka, because Ahsoka is such a beloved and celebrated character by all, and by all Star Wars fans,” Eckstein explained. “Everyone loves Ahsoka. She represents all that is good. She represents all that is light and all that is hopeful. I’m just excited for more stories, because she means so much to people. This is a character that changes lives and saves lives. I say that as a matter of fact, because as the voice of Ahsoka “I’m always at conferences, events, and even online. Pretty much on a daily basis, I get a personal story of how Ahsoka changed or saved someone’s life. There are very few characters who do that.”
