MOn Tuesday, a family spokesperson confirmed the death of Eckel Armand Hammer at the age of 67.
Abu Armie Hammer, scion of a long line of oil tycoons, passed away after a “long and arduous struggle with cancer”. The actor’s father severed financial ties with his beleaguered son, after he was the focus of the crushing blow Discover + Docuseries “The House of the Hammer”.

Michael Armand Hammer was born in Los Angeles, California, on September 8, 1955. He was the grandson of an industrialist Armand Hammerthe original founder of Occidental Petroleum in 1909.
