Doctor Strange fights the Nazis in a deleted scene from the Mad Multiverse

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness It made its way to theaters earlier this year, instantly establishing itself as one of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s most extravagant entries yet. The film took Stephen Strange / Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) on a chaotic and dangerous journey through parts of the Marvel multiverse, pitting him against villains from different dimensions. A new bit of concept art reveals a surprising direction this conflict could have gone in – in particular, a reality twist involving fighter planes from World War II, and soldiers from different time periods.

Will there be a file Doctor Strange 3?

While Cumberbatch hasn’t been confirmed to reprise his role as Doctor Strange in a future MCU project, there’s definitely still plenty of canon left to be explored on screen. The biggest might be the introduction of Clea (Charlize Theron), who literally cut through the multiverse to get Strange’s attention in search of a mission.

That’s when the bill is due. As Wong says, “You used the Darkhold to possess your own corpse.” “Sure, there has to be some fallout,” screenwriter Michael Waldron said EXCLUSIVELY Character book earlier this year. “It was somewhat of a throwback [director Sam Raimi’s] Old evil dead, and the end grumbles, or it’s like, “Oh my God, things went wrong in the end.” So yeah. We’ll see what all this means for Stephen.”

Waldron noted that “the multiverse shoved a mirror in front of his face, and made him do some self-reflection, which I think he refused to do at all.” Even when he got into this beginning [car] incident [in Doctor Strange]Instead of really thinking about who he was, he instead went and became the most powerful mage alive. This is the guy who doesn’t want to go to therapy. I think now, there’s been some forced self-reflection over the course of this adventure, and I think he’s perhaps more capable than ever before as part of a team.”

Directed by Sam Raimi, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness Stars Benedict Cumberbatch as Stephen Strange, Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff / The Scarlet Witch, Benedict Wong as Wizard Supreme Wong, Chiwetel Ejiofor as Karl Mordo, Xochitel Gomez as America Chavez, and Charlize Theron as Clea.
