Free agent Odell Beckham Jr. took to Twitter against the turf after Buffalo Bills star Von Miller was sacked on Thanksgiving with a knee injury.
Buffalo Bills fans are holding their breath after Von Miller was rushed to the locker room after what the team said was a knee injury.
Miller apparently folded after getting his foot stuck in the ground at Ford Field. A replay showed Miller’s leg slightly shaking in a manner that suggested an ACL injury, though the Bills have not yet determined the exact nature of his injury.
Needless to say, yet another superstar with a devastating – and potentially season-ending – injury on the field has once again enraged players and fans at home.
As soon as CBS cameras showed Miller being taken into the Bills’ locker room, Odell Beckham Jr. jumped on Twitter and was furious about what had happened.

Specifically, Beckham called out Ford Field and continued a persistent call by players to get rid of the playing surface before he hurt more players.
Beckham isn’t alone in wanting the NFL to move away from grass. It’s a movement that has gained over the years but has become a buzzword in the wake of recent injuries that players attribute to the playing surface they have to play on.
Ford Field is the perfect encapsulation of the controversy and concern about turf use. Just a few weeks ago, Green Bay Packers linebacker Rashan Gari was injured with an ACL injury and is now forced to miss the rest of the season. The sloppy turf used by the Lions has been universally blamed as the cause of Gary’s injury, and Miller has now suffered an almost identical injury on the same playing surface.
