It comes with Chrome OS which can be both a blessing and a curse, it also has top-notch speakers, a full HD touch screen, and can work in both portrait and landscape mode. The HP Chromebase All-in-One is a PC with everything you need in the box, and all of its accounts are located in the base and behind the screen. It’s easy to use, quick to set up, and works great. However… it has ChromeOS.
The HP Chromebase All-in-One is a device I recently reviewed that can attest to being an excellent choice. In fact, my biggest complaint was about the price, and with this deal they solve that problem. The display is good for reading content and watching videos, and the speakers were good for listening to music while I work.
For what you get, HP delivers a lot for the package. You get a mouse and keyboard in the box, and it’s the perfect machine for searching free from distractions. If you are also interested in development, it can be used for that as well thanks to the default Linux environment that can be set up in developer options. It’s a little tricky to use it this way, but you definitely can.
Keep in mind that the unit we reviewed has a better chipset in the form of the i3-10110U. If you really want to get into development right, I’d pick a budget laptop and install Linux on it instead. However, this is still a bewildering choice!
