Dallas Cowboys quarterback Micah Parsons skipped the New York Giants to get two sacks, trolling him on Twitter.
One of the three Thanksgiving games this year was a battle between the NFC East rivals the Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants. The winner of the match alone will claim the second place in the division. While the game’s story was “Which team would impress free agent Odell Beckham Jr,” there was also a story to follow on Twitter.
After the Cowboys won 28–20, Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons hit a shot on Giants starting left tackle Andrew Thomas. Parsons managed to score two sacks per day on Thomas’ account. Parsons tweeted, “I heard he was the best! I stayed by his side the whole game.”

Thomas was one of the best left tackles in the league going into Thursday. In fact, he had not allowed a single pressure in the team’s previous three games, Focus on professional football.
Prior to the match, Thomas was listed as a doubtful due to illness. After the match, Thomas did not use it as an excuse for his performance. The video below comes from SNY:
“I don’t make any excuses,” said Thomas. “I have to play better. I let the team down today.”
Parsons was also listed as questionable heading into Thanksgiving due to ankle and knee injuries. He was allowed to play, and it clearly made an impact.
After this game, Parsons now has 37 solo tackles and 12 sacks to his credit for the season.
The Cowboys got the better of the Giants, completing the sweep. As for Parsons, he decided to throw some shade at Thomas.
