The Charlotte Hornets placed Hayward on injury reports in early November with what they considered a “shoulder contusion,” similar to the way he entered his injury report on Friday. About an hour after Robyn posted the IG story, Shams Charania reported that Hayward had been “sidelined indefinitely” due to a “fracture” in his left shoulder. All shortly after the Hornets took Hayward out of their game against Minnesota with a “shoulder contusion,” mind you.
It wouldn’t be surprising to learn more about the NBA’s attempt to dig deeper into this story and what might be going wrong around the Hornets’ offices and health departments.
No further updates or communications have been announced from the Charlotte Hornets organization since Charania’s report was published yesterday. The Hornets play the Boston Celtics on Monday, November 28th, before resting until Friday, December 2nd.
