Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba It exploded onto the scene earlier this year with the anime being shot in the Entertainment District, and now fans are being reminded of just how terrifying the villain Daki was with some scary good cosplay! It might be hard to remember given how strong the year-ending fall 2022 anime schedule is in general, but 2022 kicked off with the massive adaptation of Entertainment Distict’s arc from Koyoharu Gotoge’s original manga. Here Tanjiro Kamado faced their toughest demons yet, with the biggest fights in the anime to date.
The entertainment arc introduced Tanjirou and the others (and fans) to the first true member of Muzan’s Supreme Order demonic powers, and this brother-sister duo nearly killed both fan-favorite characters. It was a bloodier fight than anything fans have gotten to see in the anime thus far, and Daki has managed to carve a huge page with fans as one of the coolest villains of the year overall. What comes in the third season of Demon Slayer?
Demon Slayer It ended its second season by confirming that the third season of the series is now in the works. While the third season of the anime has yet to reveal a release window or exact date for the new episode slate, the series has confirmed that it will adapt the Swordsmith Village arc of Koyoharu Gotoge’s manga with its new season. Things will become more difficult for Tanjirou and the others from now on.

Not only does the Swordsmith Village arc from the manga feature some powerful new enemies, but key allies will be showing off their skills for the first time as well. After debuting in Season 1, Season 3 will see Love Hashira, Mitsuri Kanroji, and Mist Hashira’s Muichiro Tokito fully enter the fray and show off their various skills against those powerful demons. But Tanjiro and the others have some new tricks, too!
