Rick and Morty Season 6 has seen a lot of the series’ main characters return in some way in episodes thus far, and now the series has revealed its first look at a fan-favorite villain who returns next with the opening scene from the next episode of the series! Now that Season 6 is picking up again with its final episode slate after its extended hiatus, and even with the brutal turn of Episode 7, this season is very much set to the series’ overarching and lore with nods and ideas drawn on some of the biggest moments of the past.
It’s been an interesting season to watch unfold Rick and Morty She seems to take full advantage of her past instead of fighting it as we saw in previous seasons. Soon you’ll be back for one of the most memorable episodes of season 5 as episode 8 of Rick and Morty Season six will bring back Rick Sanchez’ rival, Mr. Nimbus, to the series. Why does Mr. Nimbus return in season 6 of Rick and Morty?
Episode 8 of Rick and Morty Season 6 is titled “Analyze Piss”, and the opening scene sees the titular duo fighting Mr. Nimbus again. It’s teased looking at Rick’s new sea-faring castle in promotional materials that Mr. Nimbus will be involved in some way (since he has complete control of the oceans and the police), and it’s revealed in this opening scene that this castle has caused a major conflict between the two as Rick eventually lost as Mr. Nimbus got what he wanted.

Unfortunately, Mr. Nimbus’ return to the series doesn’t seem to be a huge focus of the episode, but this is also just one of the many fun nods to the overall continuity that Season 6 has been handling well so far. Not only is it a fun callback, but it’s also a showcase for how Rick continues to feel frustrated with his rival as Mr. Nimbus manages to pull one on Rick yet again.
