Rick and Morty season 6 shares first look at episode 9: WATCH

Rick and Morty Now gearing up for the penultimate episode of Season 6, fans got their first look at what to expect from Episode 9 with the first trailer! Season 6 of the series was significantly different from the past few seasons because not only did it spend more time exploring the general canon of the series, but it spent time researching each of its characters in a whole new way. With the latest episode showcasing a new side of Rick, there are questions about how the final two episodes of the season will hit home.

Rick and Morty Season 6 has taken a look at Rick’s god complex over the course of the season as a whole, and it’s forced Morty to look at himself in new ways, too. The next episode of the series seems poised to showcase Morty in a new way once again as he’s introduced to a new community of knights that has the potential to spark a new kind of unpredictable adventure. Episode 9 of Rick and Morty Season 6, “A Rick in King Mortur’s Court,” premieres on Adult Swim on Sunday, December 4 at 11:00 PM EST. As the episode’s promo teases, Morty is granted entry into a special order of knights after he is offered a mysterious sword. Morty is reluctant to take it likely because he knows it will spark some sort of new adventure, and it looks like we’ll see Morty take on this in the next episode.

One of the sequences in the opening shows a sword morty fighting with that sword against some sort of king, so he’s clearly winding up taking on this new assignment. It’s just a matter of whether or not this will be the full focus of the episode itself, and what Rick will do while Morty is caught up in this medieval mess.
