Kim Kardashian and Kanye West haven’t been together for quite some time, but as of now, their divorce has been officially and legally settled. The former couple finally agreed to terms on their divorce, and now the public is aware of the details in it. This includes what happens in their child custody situation, as well as who pays who pays child support.
The current report states that Kanye West and Kim Kardashian will share joint custody and will have “equal access” with their four children North (9), Saint (6), Chicago (4) and Psalm (3). TMZ It was reported that West will pay Kardashian $200,000 in child support plus 50% of her tuition and security expenses. The money will be due on the first day of each month and will be transferred directly to Kardashian’s account.
Another big revelation regarding the settlement is the understanding that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West must appear to mediate any dispute between them regarding their children. If a parent declines or does not attend mediation, the parent who participated in the decision is entitled to default.
This latest update on Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s divorce has arrived a month after news broke the rapper was making efforts to finalize the process. Previous updates indicated that West employed multiple attorneys throughout the proceedings, thus lengthening the process. Hopefully, with everything settled and the rules in place, this might be the last we hear about the drama between the two for a while.
Kardashians Season 2 just wrapped, but anyone with a Hulu subscription can binge on the series now. The wait continues for Season 3, which I’m sure will touch on this latest development in Kim Kardashian’s life as she finally ends this long chapter.
More is coming…
