Chainsaw man The final of the anime’s fall 2022 schedule’s first episode slate, the newest episode of the series kicked off with a bang by finally introducing Katana Man to the anime in its entirety. Since Denji and the other members of Special Squad 4 were able to escape the clutches of the Eternal Demon’s power in the previous episode, Denji is now in a more confident place than ever as he has figured out how to fight with his demon. Chainsaw man turned. But of course, things will only get worse.
With the anime now embarking on the final arc of the series’ first season, it’s now time for Denji’s most intense battle in the series to date. This begins with the introduction of a powerful new set of enemies that appear to be far more deadly than Aki and the others were prepared to face. This is the case in episode 8 where this new demon, Katana, starts fighting against the others and is someone who has a dangerous transformation much like Denji’s:

Demon Katana seems to act a lot like Denji since he was a normal human at first, but then is described as something that isn’t a full demon or human like Denji either. This “man katana” that forms as a result moves so fast he can even track him, and his first attack puts Aki against a wall because the hunter wasn’t ready to face not only this dangerous foe, but another girl he was with who had a dangerous demon contract of her own. .
