“Fauda” Director Rotem Shamir Directs Season 2 of “No Man’s Land”

Fremantle spy and family drama “No Man’s Land” has been renewed for a second season and principal photography has begun in Morocco.

Israel Television Directors Academy Award winner Rotem Shamir, whose credits include “Chaos” and “Hostage,” is directing the second season.

Series regulars Melanie Thierry (Princess of Montpensier), Soheila Yacoub (“Rise”) and James Krishna Floyd (“The Good Karma Hospital”) will reprise their characters. New cast members joining include Leo Hutton (“Rise Me”) and Zaid Joseph (“Rise Me”). “Disguise”).

The second season is set in the midst of the ongoing Syrian Civil War and follows a group fighting for freedom and portraying radicalized Westerners who join ISIS. It was commissioned by Arte and Hulu, and produced by Haut et Court TV and Masha and Spiro Films in co-production with Fremantle.

“No Man’s Land” was created by Masha’s María Feldman and Spiro’s Eitan Mansouri, written by Amit Cohen (“False Flag”) and Ron Leshem (“Euphoria”), and co-produced by Fremantle, which will be distributed internationally.

Producers on the second season include Feldman for Masha and Mansuri, Jonathan Doweck for Spiro Films, and Caroline Benjo, Simon Arnal, and Carole Scotta for Haut et Court TV, with Arte France serving as co-producer. Lionsgate+ and OSN will also be renewed for a second season.

The first season of “No Man’s Land” was warmly received by viewers across 114 territories.
