ITV is doing drama assignments

Helen Ziegler Appointed as broadcaster in the United Kingdom ITVSenior assignment editor. She will take over the role in ITV Drama in January 2024, following her maternity leave. She is currently Director of Television on the award-winning producer Mammoth Screen and has credits including Peter Booker’s ‘World on Fire’ for BBC One, Agatha Christie’s recent adaptations by Sarah Phelps for BBC One and Hugh Laurie’s ‘Why Didn’t They Ask Evans’ for BritBox UK.

ITV also announced it Helen Berry Joining as Commissioning Editor, Drama, in January 2023, on a fixed term contract, to support the expanded roster. She joined from the BBC, where she is currently Assistant Commissioner on BBC Drama. Before joining BBC Drama, Perry was working as a script director on Bad Wolf.

Also join in january 2023 is Callum DzidzicWho Will Become Assistant Commissioner, Drama and Comedy. He transitions into the role from Patrick Spence’s studio, where he is currently Executive Development Officer.

Shanghai Disney is closing again

Bye Bye Earth anime collaboration

Sony Pictures Entertainment, Crunchyroll (Sony-owned anime streaming platform) and Japanese pay-TV platform wow They have joined forces to develop and produce anime series “Bye bye Earth. The series is based on the action-fantasy novel by Tom Ubukata (“Ghost in the Shell: Arise”) and, upon completion, will be shown on Wowow in Japan and Crunchyroll globally.
