Instacart worker nearly scammed, warns others on TikTok

The customer provides Meka with his phone number. However, it is protocol for shoppers to only make calls through the app so that they do not reveal any personal information to customers. So Mika did just that.

Oddly enough, the person snapped at the customer tip claimed to be an Instacart representative. The voice said to Meka: “Hey, there was a fraudulent order. The person who purchased these items fraudulently paid, so we’ll cancel this order for you.”
