Members Legends of Tomorrow in DC You can finally buy Bebo saves Christmas, an animated special that ties into the series. The special was released last year, never went on sale, and was only available to stream on The CW’s website and app. Earlier this week, after reruns of the episode, fans realized they were finally able to purchase it on Prime Video, Vudu, and other digital retailers (in the US, at least). Animated special focusing on Beebo, the beloved mascot introduced in the third season of the show. In the special, Beebo is more than just a Tickle-Me-Elmo-inspired plush doll legends. The writers and producers built a universe around the character that introduced new plush characters and felt a bit of a fluff My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic In terms of its insane energy and color palette.
In the special, Beebo and his friends have to save Christmas after an efficiency-obsessed elf threatens to put the North Pole out of business. It upsets Benjamin Diskin, who voiced the titular version of Beebo legendsAlong with a number of other great actors including Ernie Hudson and Yvette Nicole Brown.
“A lot of the characters really pop thanks to the writing that went into this show,” Diskin told ComicBook. “I’m lucky that everyone who worked on this, put everything they could into taking a character — which is really only a smile and a catchphrase — and giving him a clear, defined personality, which also goes with the voice. He’s a very upbeat, fun, cheerful character. So, the voice is really there. “It’s kind of taking that sound into an extension of the sound that’s already there. So, fortunately for me, it didn’t take like a whole bunch of bending and twisting trying to come up with a character myself. That was really hard.”
Victor Garber, who played Professor Martin Stein Legends of tomorrow, came on board as a narrator. His first appearance in Legends of Tomorrow in DC From the season three episode “Beebo the God of War,” Beebo was an instant fan favorite. Marigold and his world would continue to have many cameos, until the appearance (as a giant hallucination attacking the city) in Crisis on Infinite Earths.
