Lucasfilm’s Jonathan Kasdan wants to take Marvel’s ‘special presentation’ approach

Jonathan Kasdan has been around Lucasfilm his whole life. His father, Lawrence Kasdan, didn’t just write Return of the Jedi as a child, but Jonathan ended up writing Solo: A Star Wars Story With his father in 2018. Now, Kasdan is working on another Lucasfilm project: willow. The Disney+ series is the follow-up to the 1988 movie of the same name, and it was one of Kasdan’s favorite movies growing up.
