Former five-star quarterback DJ Uiagalelei entered the transfer portal after three seasons at Clemson.

Perhaps a change of scenery will make Clemson quarterback DJ Uiagalelei a world good?

The former five-star quarterback from Bellflower, California committed to playing Dabo Swinney all over the country. While he has been described as the heir apparent to Trevor Lawrence at quarterback, Uiagalelei never quite lived up to the hype his predecessor had under center. With him being benched in favor of true freshman Kid Klopnik during the ACC Championship, the writing was on the wall.

With two years of eligibility left, let’s take a look at which teams make the most sense for DJ U.

If Bo Nix goes pro, DJ and Matayo Uiagalelei might just get something on their hands

There is a belief that Uiagalelei may have been headed for the west coast by transport. One team that has been interested in him out of high school that could get back into action is the Oregon Ducks. Fate will have it, Oregon is on its way to landing Oyagali’s younger brother matayo, who is a 2023 Five-Star candidate coming out of St. John’s Bosco. Maybe a package deal?

With Dan Lanning entering only his second season at the helm of Oregon State, it wouldn’t be shocking for the former Georgia Wizard to land the Brothers Uiagalelei. Of course, a lot of that hinges on what Bo Nix wants last season’s rookie to do. He can go pro, but still has one year of eligibility left that he can use due to the COVID year. And so, the Knicks hold all the cards here.

If the Nix enters the NFL Draft, DJ and Matayo Uiagalelei’s reunion could do just that.
